Which one is better for hair removal, veet, nair, shaving, waxing or any other depilatory products? I heard waxing is an easy way to get rid of unwanted hair for a while, but I also heard it hurts.

    1. Waxing hurts like HELL! Especially in sensitive areas. My go to is Nair for the legs and underarms. Shaving for the in betweens:) Veet didn’t remove the hair as successfully as Nair did for me.

    2. i wouldnt advise waxing, i’d say either Veet cream or shaving cream and a razor

    3. These are the facts about hair removal options.Never use the depilatory cremes or gels especially on your face as burns can result from caustic chemicals like calcoium hydroxide and there is also the question of lasting skin damage in later life. [external link] [external link] [external link] Waxing, threading or sugaring is not a good alternative. These methods are painful and leave a hole in the skin where the hair once grew and this can fill up with bacteria like staphylococcus aureus and cause painful infections and again permanent skin damage or discoloration. [external link] [external link] [external link] Laser hair removal at home (IPL – Intense Pulsed light) or in the salon is both expensive, painful doesn’t always work and serious skin burns can result. [external link] [external link] the advertisement, any wet blade razor scrapes away not only the unwanted hair but also the top layer of your skin, the epidermis, from which the hair grows. This wet shaving damages the skin and causes the familiar shaver rash and shaver burn that millions complain of. The skin is trying to tell you it has been injured and not to shave like this again. Wet razor blade shaving is the primary cause of painful ingrown hairs as well as a razor used in the direction of hair growth makes the hair bend and lie down next to the skin and then the blade slices the end of the hair diagonally and not straight across. The thin sliced end then bends inwards and downwards and grows into the skin where it becomes infected. Constant wet shaving can also produce changes in pigmentation resulting permanent skin discoloration for example in your underarms or bikini line. The reason behind the myth that many believe “shaving causes the hair to grow back thicker” is because they wet shave with a blade. Any doctor will tell you this is biologically impossible. See [external link] for a renowned Mayo Clinic doctor’s advice. The problem once again is the method of shaving and using the correct shaver will solve this issue immediately as well as cheaply. The water used during shaving, is absorbed by the skin cells though the process called osmosis and they swell up. You will have seen this effect if you stay in the water too long and your skin gets the wrinkled “prune” look which makers it impossible for a blade to cut the hair close to the skin. This water absorption causes the skin surface to puff up and the swollen skin cells ride up the hair shaft, concealing the base of the hair so that the blade cannot reach it to cut it. Once you finish shaving the skin dries out and the skin cells deflate again as the water has evaporated. This causes the uncut portion of the hair to reappear. The answer is to dry shave with one of the new personal shavers like the Bare It All personal shaver and bikini trimmer at www. BestBodyShaver.com and NEVER one of those face shavers, with coarse foils that may be self described as a personal shavers. Purpose built body shavers are designed with special foils to let the hair be cut without the blades touching and injuring the skin. You have to trim the hair first to short stubble length to make it stand up and away from the skin. The Bare It All personal shaver and trimmer has both a shaver and also a built in trimmer. It is completely cordless and the plug is inbuilt into the shaver base and never needs power cords, plugs or voltage converters. It other words there is nothing to forget or lose even if traveling abroad. Using this new rechargeable electric shaver you can get “smooth as waxing” skin without the itching, lumps, bumps and ingrown hairs you get with wet shaving. At less than $50 you get 500 hours of rechargeable shaving which works out at around 3 cents per shave. The titanium blades last for about 12 months too. Hair removal trimming doesn’t get any cheaper or more comfortable than that.Buy it online and you don’t pay sales tax. Compared to the other expensive forms of hair removal, some of which can seriously damage your skin and discolor it permanently, shaving dry with an electric personal shaver is a no brainer for either gender.

    4. CREAMS there are side effects and people violate those warnings: Skin damage, odor, more hair growth, uneven skin hair growth, allergic reaction. Keratin is the main protein that forms a hair strand. The result is the hair is wiped away with gentle friction. There are several chemicals based on the strength, color and coarseness of the hair. Before applying the cream, the skin type is also considered. Example from a VEET user: .”I used Veet to wax off my moustache which wasn’t anything tragic,(STUPID ME) around 12 hours ago..And for the first time I’ve got this reaaally bad skin irrtation, I’m as red as a pepper for Gd’s sake!” Keratin are not approved by the FDA.Razors using SKINTIMATE: This is my favorite, takes seconds and you’re done! I’ve chosen the pink handle 12 in a package sold @ Rite-Aid, my favorite – Pamela Anderson’s favorite, also. For females, NEVER use shaving for your facials or your arms.

    5. Use veet cream. To get all hair use an exfoliating glove to get rid of the cream. It worked best for me.

    6. Shaving. After your shower dry urself then use a wet towel or w.e to damp the spot you want to shave then shave it and wipe with the wet towel again. I find that if you do it this way when ur all dry it doesn’t grow back as fast. Waxing is stupid. It hurts, it makes u red and its a lota work when the hair is going to grow back anyways! Shaving is painless and takes no time and even though the hair might grow back quicker who cares? It take no time to shave again. Plus it doesn’t take as long to grow back as people say. .
